Fabrication data
Provide Gerber or ODB++ data, drill files, board outline, stack-up, material, copper weight, surface finish, impedance requirements, panel preferences and fabrication notes.
Bill of materials
Include reference designators, quantity, manufacturer, exact part number, package, description and approved alternatives. Mark do-not-fit positions and customer-supplied items clearly.
Assembly data
Provide centroid or pick-and-place data, assembly drawings, polarity markings, special handling notes and any programming or serialization requirements.
Testing and acceptance
State workmanship class, inspection requirements, functional-test procedure, pass/fail limits, fixture ownership and required records.
Commercial context
Include prototype or production stage, order quantity, forecast, target date, delivery destination, incoterm needs and whether an NDA is required before detailed files are exchanged.
